This policy explains how Chemillennium International (HK) Ltd. (“Chemill”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you visit www.chemill.com. It covers our enquiry form, our analytics, and the third parties that process data on our behalf. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights in section 8, contact office@chemill.com.
When you submit the enquiry form, the details you type — your name, company, work email address and message — are sent to a server function on this website and delivered by email to our business development team. We use this solely to respond to you and to manage the business relationship that may follow. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
If our email service is unavailable, the form falls back to opening your own email application with the message pre-filled; in that case the message is sent by you, directly, from your own mail account.
We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, provided by our hosting company. These count page views and measure loading performance. They are cookieless: they set nothing on your device, do not track you across websites, and do not build a profile of you. Data is aggregated and cannot reasonably be traced back to an individual visitor.
Our host also keeps standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser type) for security, abuse prevention and diagnostics. This is ordinary technical record-keeping that every website performs.
Nothing in this subsection loads, and no analytics cookie is set, unless and until you click Accept on the cookie banner.
We store two small values in your browser’s local storage: your cookie choice and your language selection (English or 简体中文). These never leave your device and are not transmitted to us.

Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are: consent (for Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — you may withdraw it at any time); and our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, keeping the site secure, and understanding aggregate traffic in a cookieless way. Where Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance applies, we collect personal data lawfully and directly, for the purposes described above, and use it only for those purposes or a directly related one.
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers acting on our instructions:

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to establish or defend legal claims.
We are based in Hong Kong and our providers operate globally, so your data may be processed outside your home jurisdiction, including in the United States and the European Union. Where the GDPR applies, such transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard offered by the provider.
The site is served over HTTPS with modern transport security. Enquiry data is transmitted over an encrypted connection and passed straight to email; this website keeps no public database of submissions. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data involved.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict certain processing, request a portable copy, and withdraw consent to analytics at any time without affecting processing already carried out. To exercise any of these, email office@chemill.com. If you are in the EU/UK you may also complain to your local supervisory authority; in Hong Kong, to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data.
